U-Unique Visitors-These are in a nutshell brand new visitors to your site. They are normally identified by the I.P. address they came from. They are usually counted once every 24 hours. These are like gravy to a website because they are new to your site, they are the ones that you have to most to gain from keeping and trying to get to return again and again.
V-Visitor-This is similar to the Unique visitor, but it can be someone who has come back to your website more than once. Never discount ANY visitors importance to your website.
W-Web 2.0-This is the newer websites and etc. that use techniques technology that was implemented post 2004. Generally faster and more streamlined.
X-Other wise known in the real world as XXX(a.k.a. adult sites) These should be avoided by everyone as a lot of them have viruses, mal-ware, and more pop-ups than you can shake a stick at. This is strictly my opinion, but the media claims that the adult sites are a Multi-Billion dollar industry, whether that is true or not is not important. the fact is that if it is true, then it just means that there are way to many pervs out there on the Internet. I AM IN NO WAY ADVOCATING ANYONE TO OPEN AN ADULT SITE AT ALL! I WOULD STAY AWAY FROM THEM MYSELF!
Y-Yahoo-The only letter of significance to Internet Marketing. Having an e-mail account is one thing with yahoo, but they offer other services as well. Check them out.
Z-Zine-Other wise known in marketing circles as an E-ZINE. It is nothing more than an electronic magazine, but is a REALLY good and cheap way to get advertising and to get your site noticed in a hurry. Try writing your own E-zine, or be a free-lance E-zine contributor.
